She's arrived safely!!

6:09 PM and I get a phone call from some weird number. It's Mom!! She's arrived safely in Costa Rico, however there isn't much of internet access or a telephone she is able to use, soooooo I won't really be in touch with her. She was using someone's phone which was charging over $1 a minute. We only spoke for about 33 seconds, and she knows me so well because before she hung up, she told me not to worry. I hope she has a fun and safe vacation!!

Britney to be by Jamie Lynn's Side.

Us Magazine is claiming Britney Spears has left Wednesday morning to fly to be by her sister's side while she prepares to give birth. About time, is it just me or do I feel like Jamie Lynn has been pregnant forever??

Nicole Kidman in Tears with Ultrasound.

According to Us Magazine, Nicole Kidman was in tears when she first saw her ultrasound. Kidman has had 2 previous miscarriages with previous beau Tom Cruise.

"I didn't think I'd get to experience that in my lifetime," she admits. "I like the unpredictable nature of it. To feel life growing with you is something very, very special, and I'm going to embrace that completely."

For someone who is due in just one month (July) she sure doesn't look very big and pregnant.

World Refugee Day!!

Even between juggling a family, a pregnancy, and a career Ms. Anglina Jolie still had time to make this beaituful PSA as a reminder to all of us to please remember those who have,

"survived war... displacement... rape... hunger and disease."

Isn't it amazing the way adopting her first son Max has changed her life? She seems to be a whole new person, making the world a better place.

Tiger's Greatest Thing in the World.

On Father's Day Tiger Woods played at the U.S. Open and he won!! He's been battling with a damaged knee says he wouldn't have been able to do it without his adorable daughter Sam.

"There's no way I could have gotten through this without Sam being there ... just watching her grow, walking, running now, it's been just the greatest thing in the world."

Isn't that absolutely sweet?? It's amazing how children can change the world!!

My Momma's Vacation!!

I cannot believe it! It's my Mom's first REAL vacation without me!! She and her partner Shirley are off to Costa Rico and they should be arriving in Charlotte any minute now for their 5 hour lay over before heading back in a plain for their final destination.

For those of you that do not know Shirley, she's an amazing person who goes to one new country every year! She's been to over 20 countries!! Holy smokes!! Anyhoo, this is her new country for the year, and the first vacation for just the two of them alone.

I know it sounds pathetic, but although I am my Mother's child, I still feel like we're both growing and becoming independent of each other. It's like mixed emotions, I'm happy that we've both found love and that we both are exploring the world, but at the same time I'm sadden. Feeling like we're growing apart. Ahhh, but I know that'll never happen. We're waaay too close and I love her more than anything. I wish her a happy and safe trip. I can't wait for her to get home so I could just plant a big ol' kiss on her beautiful face!!
