While I Slept...

So on Monday I was talking about how I didn't get enough sleep the night before (30-45 minutes) so today I slept in and Rey I guess was missing me because I just slept in so he did this. Freakin bugging me while I slept, pinching my cheeks and trying to pick my nose!! Haha, sorry it's so dark, I was sleeping and the curtains were drawn to block out the sun.

That's crazy!! I've seen people do a belly roll but to do it also in the opposite direction and then to do it sideways both ways!? CRAZY!! That guys got too much time on his hands to be finding out all those body tricks!!

This is so cute!! I love it, especially when they took the pole out from his head and then also when the two worked as one to break dance!! Very cool!! Hope you enjoyed your two VHOF clips for today and yesterday!!

This boy is too cute!! He's praying in Lao and sharing with his Mom a picture of Buddha and reciting a prayer. He's just too cute and I'm so impressed with how well he can speak Lao although he is born in Florida!! Way to go and keep up the good work kiddo!! I wish I knew more Lao, I think I'll have my Mom teach me more so I can share this with my children one day!!

Alright so I guess on the weekends I'll be too busy to post most of the time so I'll be having to play catch up a lot. So here are some catch up video's for the weekend. Here is a south east Asian theme with some great Lao and Thai videos!! Enjoy!!

Watching this video makes me sooo hungry, and it totally reminds me of typical Asian Mom's and Grandma's!!

I was so pleased to see this, although the guys do seem a bit thugish looking and hard core they state in the video they do not have affiliations with any gangs which is great to hear. Many Lao youngsters are exposed to such negative communities and it's so great to see some people trying to stop and make a change!!

Talk about talent!! This white guy is great!! Puts me to shame!! I'm amazed he didn't have a teacher teach him the language, he was self taught with books!!

Here is the same guy as the video above, and I think he does a great job teaching the very basic Lao phrases!! Enjoy picking up a thing or two!! I hope he makes sequel to this, and if he does I will for sure post it!!

I actually got this video link from my Sweetheart Rey!! (Thanks Honey!!) We were watching this and many other similar related videos last night for a good 30 minutes just laughing our heads off! It's hilarious! If you have the time, you should definitely YouTube more episodes because they are too funny. The things they do, and the people that do it! Like the big guy who breaks the moving wall peices. Ahahaa!! This Human Tetris idea is just such a fun great idea!! If I ever had the opprotunity to do this I defeinately would!! Would you??

I think it's funny how the one guy touches the knight and then the knight moves. I would have laughed more if it said, "Do Not Touch" and then he does and the knight chases after him. Ahahahaa!! Too funny!!

Did you see Anita's face?? Ahahaaa!! Damn, these people are freaking crazy!! It makes me think, "Who does this??" And then I remember a story my Mom told me about when she was little. Back in the refugee camp her and my Uncle David and friends used to have Thai chili pepper eating contest. Rules were simple, just keep the stems of the peppers you eat for evidence and show the other person. Well my dear sweet innocent Mom wasn't so sweet and innocent when it came to this!! She used to just take the stems of any chili peppers people would cook with and say that she ate them!! Haha, poor Uncle. There he was suffering with a hot mouth, all the while my Mom was just taking other people's cooking stems!! Haha!!

Another story is how my Mom and her friends would make papaya salad. They add up all their ages and put that many peppers in. Example: Lisa is 6, Tom is 9, Mary is 10, Mom is 10. Total age is 315years so they would put in 35 peppers! She said it was sooo spicy they would end up just taking one shred of the papaya and brush it against the plate so the hot sauce would slip off a bit. And just eat that ONE shred with rice. Yet it was still sooo spicy. LMAO!! Gotta love spicy Thai food!!

This little girl is so cute!! I think it's great when children know American Sign Language (ASL), it's very easy to pick up and is very helpful in life. It counts as another language so if you know ASL you are bi-lingual! Do you know any signs in ASL??

But on a more serious note, I can't believe people are still being close minded and racist, but I just experianced this the other day during dinner. It was sad, and reminded me that just because it's 2008 there are still stupid people out there who need to be educated and stop all the hate!! Come on now, we're all M&Ms in the end right??

Hey all, I was really busy on Friday with Rey's family today. We had a very productive family day today so I just NOW have the time to log in and post. So here is Friday's VHOF and also todays! Enjoy!!

I think this is just too funny!! I'm not close to my Dad like this, but I am very close to my Mom. And everything thinks my Mom is just so funny, cool, and "hip"!! Haha! It's funny!!

I remember when my Mom was trying to teach me how to drive a stick shift. Our agreement is if she yelled at me, I'd quit. Needless to say, she yelled at me, I quit, and now I drive an automatic. LMAO. But I totally remember feeling soooo embarrassed when a car pulled up behind me at a stop light. Then I had to roll down my window and wave my arm for them to go around me. Goodness, I don't think I'll ever get a stick shift down!

Such a sweet touching song. The other day I spoke to Rey and asked if he's visited his Grandpa lately. As life passes, we lose loved ones, people come and go. As days go on, we don't seem to stop by and visit as often, and we don't seem to remember as much. So today, please take the time out of your busy day and go visit your lost loved one. Talk to them, tell them how much you miss them, and how you wish them well. They're listening and always looking down on you.
