The Wedding Cake!!

So we're thinking along the lines of the cakes above. Something fun, laid back, and beachy!! What do you guys think?? Also, what flavor should we go for??

Update On The Perfect Fairy Tale Wedding.

So it's time for an update!! And I really wanted to share with everyone the progress we've made with our magical wedding. So far we've chosen:

• Venue -Lanikuhonua (www.lanikuhonua.org)
• Hair and make up -Christine Gardner (www.christinegardner.com)
• My wedding ring.
• My wedding dress.
• All the big important songs for the ceremony and reception.
• Table shapes for guest and sweetheart table plus with runners.
• Cake.
• Flowers - cymbidium orchids, with a touch of mini calla lilies, roses, with seeded eucalyptus.

We know those are the types of flowers we want incorporated into the wedding, and here are types of bouquets we're looking at. Should we stay more in the sophisticated pales or more into the lively splashes of color?? Which do you like??

Now we're working on the guest list and also the wedding website. We still need to figure out the color scheme for the big day!! And ideas would be great!! I'm pretty impressed with this, the wedding is coming along so easily and I'm really happy with everything we've selected!! I can't believe I'm going to marry the man of my dreams soon!! We're moving!!

R.I.P. 6 Gay Men.

During the past week violent hate crimes have been committed all over Iraq, sadly six gay men in Iraq have been murdered. In addition, a popular gay cafe in Baghdad has been burned to bits.

Do people have nothing better to do?? Karma's a bitch, just watch.

Even Iowa is Passing up California!!

Wow, little state Iowa is even more progressive than California!! The Supreme Court in Iowa just announced that gay marriage will be legal in the state!! Come on California, what's taking so long??

Sweden Passing Up California.

Looks like even Sweden is ahead of California. Sweden is now the fifth European country to allow same-sex weddings, joining the Netherlands, Norway, Belgium and Spain.

Yay for progress!!
