It's been a looong time since I threw in any coupon saving tips, so I thought it was about time to get the ball rolling again!! After all, in the economy we are in now, we could all use all the help we could get to save a buck here and there, whether it be with coupons and sales or cheap fun free festivities!! I've never been to this one before but I used to go every year to the contest they held in San Diego at the Imperial Beach!! This should be lots of fun!! Here's the info:

Slumdog Millionaire will be playing at the Washington Square Park in San Francisco will begin at 8 pm (or dusk). It's free but they do ask fr a $6 donation but again it is not mandatory. Picnics are welcomed, but please note that they do not allow chairs.

My Mom's Wedding 09/09/09

My Mom's wedding just passed on 09/09/09, and it was great to see all of my family again after 11 years!! The ceremony was held at the Berkeley Rose Garden and the reception followed at the Legendary Palace in Oakland. Today, 9/11 my Mom is arriving in Paris for her honeymoon. Here are a few photos from the wedding events!!

Battle of The Bay!!

We went to the Battle of The Bay!! It was my first NFL game and it was so much fun!! After I worked in Faithful City, Tina (my boss), Darcy (my boss' husband), and myself went and joined Rey, his sister Gen, and her two friends at the game!!

Fun game, fun crowd, and a overall fun night!! Here is a video from the event!!

Back in Action.

Alllrighty, sooo I'm so happy to announce, I got my laptop back!! It's been MIA for MONTHS. Probably since February?? It had virus so I just stopped using it. And about 2 weeks ago my friend took it to fix it, and I just got it back!! Soooo, I think this will help me a lot. I used to do ALL my blogging on my laptop from bed. Which made it more fun and easier than being the office or game room as Rey is playing video games loudly, or people just around me distracting me. Now I can blog from bed like I used to those days where I'd post many many times a day.

In addition, some new changes is I got a new phone!! I had my old iPhone the VERY day iPhones came out, and I finally upgraded it to a sweet looking white iPhone 3gs!! And I love her!! I think I'll name her Betty Sue?? Or maybe just Betty?? I don't know yet, she looks classy like a 50's girl so I'll have to hunt around for names. Haha.

Less than a month til my Mom's wedding. Whew, her engagement went by REALLY fast!! Other news, we came back from our camping trip!! Lots of fun at Lake Don Pedro!! Boating is a thrill and tubing is always fun, plus I tried wake boarding!! The photos above are of us on the boat!! We had a really good time and I'm determined to plan another a camping trip in the summer. I want a bunch of friends to come, so if you're interest just let me know as the date closens. The trip was really fun, and yes I did get bug bites but they weren't as much as I had anticipated and they didn't hurt as bad either!! It was my first time camping at Don Pedro and I defiantly would go back if I had access to a boat again. This was our very first time camping together ever!! Never been since we got together 4 years ago!! Something we always wanted to do, and it was fun cuddling at night in a tent with my sweet pea!!

School starts this Monday, and please keep your fingers crossed for me. I have to do a walk in for all of my classes. I'm hoping my high priority number will do me some good.

White Wines!!

So I've found one of my new hobbies, drinking a nice white wine with my Fiancee late at night!! I've never been a big drinker, and I couldn't stand wine, however now that I'm learning more and more about wine I'm really starting to like it. I love me some Moscato, and I'm looking forward to trying Resling soon!! Rey still hasn't gotten used to the technique to drink wine, he's still guzzling it down and then giving me a sour puck face, haha!! He'll learn though!!

So some new updates.. MyMom's wedding is creeping up!! Less than 2 months away!! I can't wait to see all of my family here for the first time in 11 years!! Craziness!!

My summer is going on right now, and I'm enjoying taking the summer off of school to just enjoy the summer!! I busted my butt this last semester so I felt I deserved a break!! I'm still working though, gotta make that money!!

Rey and I just celebrated our our 4 year anniversary together on July 1st. Rey took me to a picnic lunch at the beach accompanied with beach side massages and beach football. Then we went to a fancy dinner at Joe Maggio's which was delish!! We also just had our 5th Fourth of July together. Life has been great for us. We are so truly blessed!! Our families are doing well, our health is supurb, and we have been so fortunate to be continuing this amazing life of ours. Our wedding is 1 year and 11 months away!! Could you believe that?? Today I went to our jewelers to re polish the prongs of my engagement ring. While the goldsmith was working on my ring I peeked at the men's wedding rings and found 2 rings that caught my eye. I will have to bring Rey back there for him to choose which one he likes the best out of the two, although I kind of already have an idea which one he'd like more. :)

Next weekend Rey and I are going camping with Rey's brother Ryan and his fiancee Lauren and 3 other couples. It's a couples camping weekend with a total of 5 couples as of now. It should be fun!! Oh, also on Labor Day we'll be headed back to Sacramento to go to the California State Fair. We had a blast last year, so we definitely look forward to going again this year!!

So it's time for an update!! And I really wanted to share with everyone the progress we've made with our magical wedding. So far we've chosen:

• Table shapes for guest and sweetheart table plus with runners.

• Flowers - cymbidium orchids, with a touch of mini calla lilies, roses, with seeded eucalyptus.

We know those are the types of flowers we want incorporated into the wedding, and here are types of bouquets we're looking at. Should we stay more in the sophisticated pales or more into the lively splashes of color?? Which do you like??

Now we're working on the guest list and also the wedding website. We still need to figure out the color scheme for the big day!! And ideas would be great!! I'm pretty impressed with this, the wedding is coming along so easily and I'm really happy with everything we've selected!! I can't believe I'm going to marry the man of my dreams soon!!
