Update!!

Hello all!!

Sorry again that I've been so busy that I haven't been posting as often as I used to. I'm now more settled in at my new job, and I love it! It's really fun, and I truly am taken away at each little kids smile when I see them at work. It's amazing. I love those little miracles we call children!!

My Mom went to some home owners meeting yesterday, and she won $100 gas cards!! Dude, she's seriously soooo lucky!! There were a couple of $25 gift card winners, one of them being Shirley (Mom's girlfriend) and then there were 3 $100 winners, Mom was the last one who won that!! I swear, my Mom is soooo good with her luck. I remember she won a gift card to Guess a few years back from some club, and back in kindergarten there was a jar full of jellybeans or was it M&Ms?? Anyways, we had to guess how many were in this huge jar, and she was only two away from the right number!! Obviously she won!! She amazes me!! What an awesome woman!!

What else is new with us?? Not a whole lot. I've just been busy doing stuff for my new job, always shopping and finding new cool things for the kids, and touching up on some skills. Plus, working with kids takes lots of energy so it really tires me out. I'm such a night owl, sleeping at 5 am usually, sometimes an hour earlier or usually an hour or two later. But yesterday work just beat me up and I was knocked out by 10pm!! Haha, I was worn out. And still am achey today!! But soooo worth it seeing those little munchkins smile!!

In addition, we've been spending a lot of time with our friends. One friend of ours has his cousin over from New York. She's really nice so we've been taking her out the past 2 weeks for site seeing before she leaves this week. Tomorrow I believe we're taking her to Santa Cruz, CA to show her the Boardwalk and just chill on their yucky dirty sand and play in their icky water. Haha, but none the less, it is a tourist attraction and is fun with friends!! Maybe we'll even hit up the Monterey Aquarium!! I haven't been there in a long time, I was much younger and not able to really admire and appreciate it. Plus today, Rey's Dad and I were bonding picking lint off the carpet (lol, random) and watching Animal Planet. They were showing the great white shark that they had to take out of the Monterey Aquarium and put back into the ocean because the shark kept eating all the other fish in the tank. Haha, that show got me really itching to go to the sea and also to see some sea life!!

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer. The weather has been nice, not as hot as it was for the past few summers. Good picnic weather, we had a BBQ picnic today. Hope you are all safe, and having fun. I hope to see you soon!! In goodness and health! Love you!!
